Take a look at that lineup, won’tcha?

Get ready to journey to the picturesque community of St Albans, less than 2 hours north-west of Sydney to rub shoulders with the likes of Jane Caro, Les Murray, Sarah Ferguson, Richard Glover and many more, as you wander the festival precinct of this historic village. In its second year, the festival is set to maintain its community focus while bringing world-class ideas and literature together in a unique setting.

Informal ‘Meet the Author’ roundtables will allow festival-goers to chat with the authors over a coffee or by the fireside, and gourmet food options will be provided by Simmone Logue. There’s no mobile or WiFi service in the Forgotten Valley, so put away your smart phone for the weekend and soak up some fresh ideas in the crisp country air.

St Albans Writers’ Festival will run from Friday September 16 to Sunday September 18. For ticketing info and the full program of events and workshops. head to the St Albans Writers’ Festival website, here.
