12 inch night is a debaucherous take on the classic gender-bender.

Siblis Collective will be updating the Bard’s classic caper Tweltfh Night for this year’s Mardi Gras. 12 Inch Night follows Viola, the Film Studies graduate who, masquerading as her twin Sebastian, finds herself in a pickle in the middle of a gay porn studio in Sydney.

The play will cover issues such as HIV, LGBTQIA+ equality, sex work, drug use and gender roles and ultimately will convey a final messgage of acceptance, keeping in theme with this year’s Mardi Gras theme, “Creating Equality”.

Directed byChris McKay and Ariella Stoian, the cast includes Claire Appleby, Barry Backhouse, Paul Godfrey, Lisa Hanssens, Kurt McCarthy, Diab Metry, Tom Misa, Lachlan Parry, Alex Radovan, Craig Walker.
