Sydney’s Persian International Film Festival returns in 2014 for its third year showcasing one of the most intriguing and innovative film cultures in the world.

This year’s festival will run over four days with a full program of both established filmmakers and fresh faces all displaying the uniquness and beauty of Persian life. Opening the festival is Manuscripts Don’t Burn from award-winning writer and directorMohammad Rasoulof, whose previous work has been banned from his home country and even saw him jailed for a year.
