Run by the Sydney Theatre Company, Rough Draft is a free event that gives audiences the opportunity to catch a work-in-progress play – a rare insight into how plays are constructed, developed and performed. It also gives playwrights the opportunity to experiment, to try new ideas and reflect on what works and what doesn’t.
On Friday May 9, Rought Draft #24 features Two Jews Walk Into A Theatre, a play written by Gideon Obarzanek and Brian Lipson, and directed by Lucy Guerin. The play centres around a random meeting of two elderly men, which then escalates into a fight as they clash over their different perspectives on their shared experiences.
Two Jews Walk Into A Theare is being performed for Rough Draft #24 on Friday May 9 at 6:30pm. Tickets are free, but are limited to four per customer.
