Meg Mac kept it all the way Straya on this morning’s Like A Version, where she unleashed an almost unrecognisable cover of Tame Impala’s serpentine epic ‘Let It Happen’.

“I approached this one very differently”, she explained, and she wasn’t lying. She basically loops one vocal part buried late within the original’s seven-and-a-half minutes, building from there to create an entirely different beast.

“I love the song obviously, and then I found this vocal bit that happens at the end of the song that was my favourite part. So I used that to create the whole song.”
