Australian body builder Calum Von Moger – who made headlines in May after falling from a second-floor window – has avoided conviction over a road rage incident that took place in January which saw him stab a tyre.

Von Moger appeared in court and pleaded guilty to criminal damage charges that took place in a fit of rage after he crashed into another car. The court heard that the accident took place in Melbourne’s Altona North on January 26, and Von Moger approached the victim’s car and stabbed their tyre.

The three-time Mr Universe winner’s lawyer told that his client suffered from post-traumatic stress and adjustment disorders, and his mental health had deteriorated since 2018.

“He does have potential business opportunities in America, he is largely reliant on that income. I can’t give that figure, but von Moger does have the prospect of future employment,” his lawyer added, as per 9News.

Von Moger was fined $2500 and placed on a 12-month good behaviour bond, but the 32-year-old didn’t receive a criminal conviction over the altercation.

The bodybuilder suffered serious injuries and was put into an induced coma after falling from a second-story window at his Geelong home earlier this year. Graphic images were shared of Moger’s house that had parts of the interior destroyed prior to the fall. He has since appeared in court and pleaded guilty to possessing a number of drugs, including testosterone, cannabis and methamphetamine. He was eventually ordered to pay $500 to a court fund.

While Von Moger hasn’t publicly addressed whether he has fully recovered, he did appear in court today and shared a now-deleted post in June saying his injuries had improved but said he still faces a long road to recovery.
