The Simpsons features many hidden and encrypted jokes known by geeks as ‘Easter eggs’. I’m speaking about the true Simpsons canon from the early 90s.

A hilarious artefact of these early sacred texts came to light when keen observers realised that Rainier Wolfcastle’s turn as McBain in cutaway gags can be stitched together, constituting a complete 5-minute mini-movie.

It’s note perfect for the 80s action films of Schwarzenegger, Willis, Van Damme and Stallone.

My favourite part is the death of McBain’s partner two days away from retirement, shot to pieces by a Mendoza henchman … sprawled on the floor, “I don’t think I’m going to make it.”

McBain: “Oh stop talking crazy.”
