Sydney-based arts organization The Festivalists are set to transform SEA Life Sydney Aqaurium into a thrilling after-hours experience filled with improv comedy, pop-up bars and puppet cabaret.

HIJINKS will see Sydney-siders exploring the Aquarium and, with the help of some comedians-masquerading-as-tour-guides, seek out sunken treasures. The event’s opening night will be further augmented by an intereactive and radio-transmitted storytelling experience devised by Tom Christophersen and a puppet cabaret show courtesy of performance artist Defy.

HIJINKS attendess will also get to experience a number of other fun activities including a ukelele tutorial with Tom The Pom and ‘Talk Like A Pirate’ lessons.

“While exploring, guests can grab a drink at the pop-up bars serving Little Creatures beers or SKYY Vodka cocktails, take selfies with Grey Nurse sharks, chat with marine biologists or simply get a head start on the weekend” says The Festivalists director Mathieu Raiver.

HIJINKS will ensue on the 11th of September, 30th of October and 13th of November. Tickets available at the HIJINKS website.
