Booking Agent – Comedy

Token is looking for someone who is passionate about live comedy to join the team, sourcing and booking live gigs for our stable of Australian comedians.
The role will focus on booking artists for ticketed events, placing line ups, selling live shows to venues and working with clubs and festivals across the country to find opportunities for our roster of high profile clients.
This role will also involve updating marketing material for our artists and their shows. You will need to love heading out to live comedy regularly to keep up to date with the scene, representing the company at clubs and venues. There will be some travel involved, keeping across the comedy scene nationally will be a part of the role.
The successful candidate will most likely know the Australian comedy scene, having worked for a live entertainment business before. You will be organised, outgoing and happy to negotiate on behalf of our artists. You will be entrepreneurial and have a demonstrated confidence in deal making. This is not an entry level role.
Our preference is for the role to be based in Sydney, but we will consider candidates that prefer to be based in Melbourne.

Salary $65k -$75k
