About this role – Label Manager (Liberation Records)

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled team at one of Australia’s most respected record labels working with artists including Vance Joy, Julia Jacklin, Gordi, Lastlings, Mansionair, Alex Lahey, Didirri, Dan Sultan, merci mercy & more….
The key responsibilities for this role will include co-ordinating release campaigns incorporating scheduling release dates and facilitating physical and digital releases for the Label.
This is a senior role within the label working with internal teams and artist managers, so we are looking for someone with proven record label experience in a similar role – who can come in and find their feet quickly.
We are also open to considering someone with a commensurate background from within the music industry with transferable skills for this role.
As above, this is not an entry level role and the successful candidate for this role will have proven and demonstrated experience working as a Label Manager.

Your strong written and verbal communication skills mean that you can present your ideas constructively and offer sound and well-reasoned alternative solutions when required.
Above all, you will be passionate about music and the industry.
Given the nature of our business, it is expected that the Label Manager will be required to attend gigs outside of regular office hours.
