MusicSA is proud to support the Australian Music Industry Network (AMIN), the national alliance of Australia’s peak contemporary music bodies, in its search for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager. This role, created as part of AMIN’s exciting new strategic vision, will be pivotal in delivering AMIN’s 2025-2027 goals. The successful candidate will play a vital part in driving key cross-border programs and scoping a new National Regional Touring Network, contributing significantly to the growth and sustainability of contemporary Australian music. This is a part-time (three days/week), hybrid role, based in South Australia and working out of MusicSA’s Adelaide office. A passion for music and high-level project management skills are essential.

About the role 

In 2025-2027, AMIN will deliver a two-year project focused on cross-border programs and scoping a national regional touring network. AMIN seeks an experienced Project Manager, working out of the MusicSA office, to:  

  1. Investigate and identify the framework for a proposed National Regional Touring Network, including researching, mapping, costing out – and subject to funding – commencing development of this new national touring regional initiative through AMIN  

  2. Identify unique and shared Industry Development opportunities in each state and territory by working across and with all AMIN peak bodies to identify resources and programs that can be shared, avoiding duplication, increasing engagement and elevating grass roots development  

  3. Resource and elevate localised music programming through strengthened cross-border networks, increased regional engagement and development opportunities, and build on and expand the strengths of each AMIN state and territory body

AMIN, the Australian Music Industry Network, is the alliance of Australia’s state and territory peak music industry bodies: MusicACT, MusicNSW, MusicNT, MusicSA, Music Tasmania, Music Victoria, QMusic and West Australian Music. 

 AMIN represents the interests of local music communities across the country and works collaboratively to strengthen and grow the Australian music industry.

This is a 0.6 FTE (22.5 hours per week) position. Workdays and times are flexible within standard business hours, subject to approval. The role can be based in-office or hybrid, requiring a minimum of 30% of work time to be spent at the MusicSA office. The remaining hours can be worked either in the office or remotely.
