About the opportunity:
We are looking for an energetic Senior Partnerships Manager to join our expanding Sales & Partnerships Team in Sydney to lead a portfolio of agencies and clients in Sydney. As part of a high performance commercial team that provides outstanding media and advertising solutions to our clients, this position is crucial to growing our business and supporting our brand partners in this market.
Reporting to the Head of Partnerships for NSW, you will be responsible for developing new commercial opportunities across the media agency ecosystem and key direct clients. This position will also see you working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, such as our in-house creative studio, events, editorial & campaign operations teams to pitch high quality proposals, deliver strategic partnerships and post campaign reports that achieve client KPIs.
Overseeing the end to end campaign process is essential, ensuring client satisfaction is achieved. We’re on the hunt for a self starter, a digital media expert, an effective communicator and strong negotiator!
The successful candidate will be a collaborative team player who will focus on driving positive business outcomes and repeat business by
- Representing The Brag Media with a high level of integrity and knowledge and be a resource for clients and their media agencies
- Manage existing and develop new relationships with clients and media agencies
- Works with colleagues to bring creative media solutions to brands
- Achieve sales targets through new business developments and key account management
Day to day duties will include:
- Daily outreach to key senior media agency and market contacts to set up meetings, and extract briefs or proactive opportunities
- Selling creative branded content solutions and digital media to agencies and brand partners
- Managing the sales process from brief to booking
- Achieve individual and team targets each quarter
- Provide accurate reporting and pipeline management
- Build and maintain agency patch and key brand relationships
- Contribute to the long-term sales strategy and vision of the overall team
- Generate a pipeline of media campaign briefs through calls, face to face meetings and presentations,
- CRM Management to deliver high quality data integrity for internal reporting and forecasting
- Consistently meeting revenue goals by developing and actioning robust sales and business plans
- Identifying opportunities to optimise revenue by proposing commercial and media solutions that respond to client needs whilst satisfying business objectives
- Proactively pitch new business opportunities to media agency client leads and leverage market relationships to enable partnership outcomes.
- Building the profile of The Brag Media amongst agency and client contacts through effective relationships with client stakeholders
- Developing and presenting high value, strategic proposals in response to client and agency partnership briefs working in collaboration with our in-house studio team
- Managing the ongoing relationship with clients prior to, and during our service delivery until completion
- Work closely with producers, editors and content creators to ensure client partnership campaigns are being executed according to the client’s business objective
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in winning briefs, be based in Sydney, have strong commercial acumen, solid negotiation skills and a passion for youth-culture.
Your Experience
- Minimum 5+ years experience in media sales
- Experience in developing and selling integrated media and branded content solutions
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships both externally and internally
- Experience in using a CRM system, pipeline management and experience with revenue forecasting
- Strong storyteller and excellent communication skills
- Business minded strategic thinker
- Hunger for success and deliver results across your portfolio
- Results focused and comfortable cold outreaching
- BA/BS in Business (Advertising/Marketing) or equivalent experience
- Strong media agency contacts in Australia
- Proven record of exceeding targets
- Receptive to feedback and proactive in learning
- Self-organised and proactive, using initiative to meet client needs
