With the release of their forthcoming EP almost in sight, Melbourne dream-pop duo Kllo have revealed they’ll jetting around the country for a slew of shows to celebrate the new record.
Well Worn is set for release on Friday August 5 and two of its singles have already been garnering rave reviews from the likes of Pitchfork, the Fader and Stereogum.
Stereogum described Bolide as a song with a “catchy bass groove and quick-hitting intricate drums that anchor (Chloe) Kaul’s light, airy delivery,” while Walls to Build is illustrated by Pitchfork as “a pleasant and fluid pop tune that blurs lines between R&B and two-step.”
Their live performances are equally energetic as they are captivating, pairing Simon Lam’s jack-of-all-trades production with Kaul’s contrasting siren-like vocals and lyrics.
Kllo are set to enchant and enthral when they come to Plan B on Friday August 18.
