Have you been looking for a way to escape the monotonous routine of the 9-5 workday? Well, Newtown’s Marlborough Hotel might have exactly what you’re looking for.

Yes, the Marly Bar is about to launch a new mid-week party, which will give you one of the best ways to celebrate hump day, as plenty of local acts descend upon the Sydney hotspot.

Dubbed WYD? Wednesdays At Marly, these weekly sessions will kick off on March 7th, as Adelaide DJ Luke Million takes over the Marly’s ground floor and underground nightclub Tokyo Sing Song to deliver a huge set of veritable bangers.

Keen for more? Well, coming weeks will see the likes of Shantan Wantan Ichiban, highly sought after DJ and TV presenter FlexMami, triple j’s Linda Marigliano, and even Thundamentals hitting up the Marly for a DJ set.

“The Marly has always been supportive of the local, young community and of home-grown talent,” explains Marly’s General Manager Amanda Verratti. “We’re really excited to be working with these artists and to be able to offer up a brand new night with such a strong line-up”.

It’s all set to kick off on March 7th and take place each Wednesday, so make sure you clear your schedule, turn off Netflix (or whatever you do on Wednesday nights), and make your way to Newtown’s Marlborough Hotel for one of the coolest weekly parties going around.
