This weekend, Glaswegian minimal proponent Alex Smokewill play both a live set and a DJ set as part of a fifteen-hour extravaganza at The Abercrombiecourtesy of Strange Fruit and The Box.

Revelers will have the chance to see Alex Smoke ‘squared’, as he’ll be playing a live set outside in the early evening, before following it up with a DJ set inside the club later on in the night. A classically trained musician, Alex Smoke dropped his most recent album Wraetlic at the end of last year, adding to his portfolio of classic albums, Incommunicado and Paradolia,his 2006 compilation Sci.Fi.Hi.Fi Vol. 3, and his remixes of Depeche Mode, Junior Boys and Chloe .Veteran Melbourne luminary Mike Callander, Marcotix, D&D and Defined By Rhythm will all support.
