Right now it seems like there are pop-up galleries all over town that are hosting in-depth and intense political collections: the Australian Centre for Photography is no exception.

The ACP‘s new pop-up gallery will play host to several features of works bearing political and social themes, displaying works from several cutting-edge photographers from the Asia-Pacific region.

The first in the series of exhibitions to be displayed portrays the comically political prints of Thai artistMiti Ruangkritya, with the unique seriesThe Presidents: from JFK to Obamaby American photographer David Burnett on display later in the year.

Admission is free to all pop-up events at the ACP, Paddington, running from Wednesday September 21 until the end of the year.
