One of Ireland’s biggest exports Panti Bliss has locked in a show in conjunction with the 2015 Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, bringing her show High Heels In Low Places to Sydney.

Describing herself as an “Accidental Activist”, Panti Bliss rose to prominence after a speech she made about homophobia went viral, even being debated in parliament and remixed by the Pet Shop Boys.

Her new show, High Heels In Low Places, is a response to the social, political and media controversy that arose earlier in the year after the infamous ‘Pantigate’ incident in Ireland.

Panti Bliss will also be present at the official Mardi Gras Parade, leading the brand-new Irish Australian float on the night.

High Heels In Low Places runs at The Vanguard on Wednesday March 4 and Thursday March 5. Tickets starts at $32.80 and are available from the venue’s website.
