Getting real with our addiction to coffee, it’s high time to do something about it. And that means getting intimately acquainted with the best coffee and tips on how to source, brew, create and love it. The Rocks Aroma Festival is here to help, coming to steam up Sydney with a full day of coffee-related bliss.

It’s early, the hour is a dark one. You will soon be expected to bring your A-game, visionary insights and cacophonic zeal to the workplace. You feel alone. Who or what could possibly help in this solitary pickle? You pull your collar up as the biting wind sets into your vulnerable bod. You mumble your coffee to the noble knight behind the counter. Your name is called. You glance upwards and there, lightly glistening, steam sweetly sauntering upwards, is your dear, beautiful, beloved coffee. You sip. You sigh. It is all going to be OK.

We know we love coffee. We know it is good for us. It’s time to bring all that gratitude and dependence to one place. Come Sunday July 24, The Rocks will be ablaze of roasters, baristas, gourmet cuisine, live entertainment and amicable crowds of fellow coffee-loving brethren.

There will be opportunity to sample coffee from far-flung, high-altitude places, workshops on how to actually make coffee, latte art design classes, all within the fresh and vibrant atmosphere of one of Sydney’s most iconic precincts.

Take thineself, a few buddies, an adoration of coffee and your chiller hat to The Rocks, 10am – 5pm, Sunday July 24.
