Catmosphere, a space-themed cat cafe, is set to open in the Sydney CBD this July.

We always knew that cats were spiritual beings from another dimension, so it only makes sense that a space-themed cat cafe is on its way to Sydney. Or that’s the best explanation we can think of for the news, anyway.

The people behind Catmosphere have launched an Indiegogo campaign to raise funds for their new feline-friendly astrocat coffee shop, giving cat lovers a chance to hang out with some kitties while sipping on a brew or two. For $20, contributors can pre-book a session with the resident cats. An opening night VIP ticket will set you back $100, while for a donation of $1,000, you can sponsor a space cat.

Keep an eye on the Catmosphere cafe website for details of the opening, as this launch could be… cat-astrophic.
