Announced today for the 2016 Winda Film Festival are 33 curated works that will focus on the theme ‘From The Four Directions’.

A wide collection of indigenous films from around Australia will feature in the Winda Film Festival, with Lee Tamahori’s Mahana launching the program next month.

Film lovers can look forward to a showcase of 14 Australian premieres, one world premiere, feature films, short films and documentaries. The festivalaims to give a voice to indigenous stories and recognise the growth of the industry among indigenous communities.

Winda Film Festival runs from Thursday November 10 to Sunday November 13 at Dendy Cinema, Opera Quays and Hoyts Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park.
