Sydney’s small bar and music scene has welcomed a new addition with the launch of Easy Tiger this week.

Situated in the basement of 106 Oxford Street, Paddington, Easy Tiger is a nod to 1970’s Americana with vintage interiors, bar snacks, retro cocktails and roller-skating waitresses.

Open five nights a week, the hot new venue will play host to a number of regular weekly events with a big focus on great music and a chilled out vibe.

Monday night isTrue Weekend, with special offers and BYO vinyl; atWalkie-talkie Wednesdayspatrons can set up a bar tab, order drinks on 1970s walkie talkies and get them delivered to the table by roller-skating waitresses. Wicked.

Easy Tiger’s weekly live music night,Meow, is on Thursdays with rocking music from upcoming bands, as well as 1970’s priced food and drinks and a complimentary Sailor Jerry on arrival for just $5 entry. Live music will continue throughout the weekend on Friday and Saturday nights, supporting original acts from around the country.
