Sydney’s small bar and music scene has welcomed a new addition with the launch of Easy Tiger this week.

Situated in the basement of 106 Oxford Street, Paddington, Easy Tiger is a nod to 1970’s Americana with vintage interiors, bar snacks, retro cocktails and roller-skating waitresses.

Open five nights a week, the hot new venue will play host to a number of regular weekly events with a big focus on great music and a chilled out vibe.

Monday night is True Weekend, with special offers and BYO vinyl; at Walkie-talkie Wednesdays patrons can set up a bar tab, order drinks on 1970s walkie talkies and get them delivered to the table by roller-skating waitresses. Wicked.

Easy Tiger’s weekly live music night, Meow, is on Thursdays with rocking music from upcoming bands, as well as 1970’s priced food and drinks and a complimentary Sailor Jerry on arrival for just $5 entry. Live music will continue throughout the weekend on Friday and Saturday nights, supporting original acts from around the country.

Easy Tiger launches live music night, Meow, this Thursday with Chicks Who Love Guns and Bachelor Pad.
