Sydney’s famous European-style underground club,The Spice Cellar, has been chosen as the officialEMCafter hours destination and will be hosting a series of late-night fixes all week long.

Famous for spontaneous drop-ins and unannounced gigs from world renowned DJs,The Spice Cellaris always prepared for a party, and has jumped at the chance to join in with the buzz surrounding Asia Pacific’s first electronic music conference, EMC. With the conference drawing big names such as Afrojack,Tiesto, Diplo, and Laidback Luke, to Sydney last year as an official part of ARIA Week, something big is brewing in the depths of The Cellar for 2013. Head down for a night of culinary delights and a special EMC cocktail to complement those irresistable electronic beats.

Spice will open its doors from10pmevery night and welcomes you with open arms to dance into the early hours, even on a school night. The week kicks off on Tuesday December 3 with afive-course tapas-style nibble with matching drinks for each dish, a moderated discussion featuring respected DJs including Smallpeople and Nico Stojan, and music from some of Sydney’s finest.

Tuesday will also see an agency showcase presented by Finely Tuned and Waving at Trains,withperformances fromBella SarrisandFantastic Man. Claude VonStrokegraces the cellar on Thursday December 5 with his dirty house and funky hip hop tunes.

To round off the six-day extravaganza, Soft&Slow and EMC After Hours presentSlow Blow on Friday December 6,a final night which will focus on promoting local electronic artists and exposing them to the global electronic dance world, giving them the chance to play alongside the elite of the genre.
