The end of summer is never a happy time, but the iconic Folk In Broke festival is returning to the Hunter Valley next March to help ease the pain with a broad, ecletic array of modern folk, roots and blues.

Taking place in the small villlage of Broke in the Lower Hunter, ten bands will take to a single stage, with plenty of time in between sets to peruse the artisan Sacred Tree Markets. Forget kebabs and pluto pups, the food stalls here are a cut above the average festival, along with all the local wines that the Hunter Valley is known and loved for.

Tickets are a breezy $75. Folk In Broke will take place on Saturday March 28. Check out the Facebook page for more details, including a full band lineup coming soon.
