Those Russians sure know how to make movies, don’t they? After all, Sergei Eisenstein called the Russian Empire home, and he was one of the pioneering theorists and artists working in the medium – a genius who laid the groundwork for pretty much every movie that comes out these days.

So, feel like indulging yourself in a whole heap of Soviet pleasures? Well, you’re in luck: the Russian Resurrection Film Festival is heading to Sydney, hitting Event Cinemas George Street and Burwood, and running from Thursday October 27 to Saturday November 5.

We have ten double passes to the Festival to give away, so fill in the form below for your chance to check out films like Eisenstein’s Ivan The Terrible and horror flick Queen Of Spades.
