Navigating your way around a crowded IKEA is one of the most frustrating experiences available to humans, second only to assembling furniture purchased at IKEA.

Luckily, your plans to never leave your home are becoming more and more likely, as IKEA have today introduced online shopping and home delivery to most of Sydney – from its Tempe, Rhodes, and Marsden Park stores (that’s our favourite three!).

You’ll be able to slot IKEA into your regular rotation during those alcoholic-fuelled spontaneous shopping sprees (Book Depository, Etsy, eBay, IKEA, repeat ’til fade).

They offer next-day service, seven days a week, (depending on your postcode), and although the service is handy, it sure ain’t cheap. Here’s the Tempe price list.

They have also introduced a ‘click and collect’ option, which is exactly what it sounds like (you gotta go get it), but even this will set you back a cool $40.

Still… imagine never having to go to an IKEA ever again.
