Singer-songwriter Imogen Brough has announced the unveiling of her new single, Heart, set for release on Valentine’s Day, and will be celebrating with a national tour supporting Michael Paynter kick starting in Brisbane on February 12 and finishing up at the Port Fairy Folk Festival in May.
The song was produced by industry favourite and talented fellow Voice contestant, Michael Paynter. Already proven to be an amicable musical duo, it is fitting that Imogen joins Paynter as the support for his national tour comprising dates in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Cronulla, Dee Why, Kincumber, Newcastle and Adelaide.
Imogen hit screens across the country last year for the hit TV show, The Voice, where she was a popular contestant. Her blind audition of Florence and The Machine’s ‘Never Let Me Go’ has reached a staggering 1.5 million views on YouTube, an incredible feat reflecting the impact Imogen has on her audience.
Heart will be available via iTunes on Friday February 14 and tickets to the shows at The Basement, on Friday February 14, Brass Monkey on Thursday February 20, and Lizotte’s Restaurant Dee Why on Friday February 21 are available now.
