Joan As Police Woman has announced she will be returning to Australia this June.
Joan has been restless ever since her last sold-out Australian tour in 2011, and the release of that year’s albumThe DeepField.She’s starred in a BBC produced celebration of the music of Sandy Denny and appeared on Orchestral Variations V.01 by The Separate (aka producer/engineer Rob Kirwan), reimagining The Smiths’The Night HasOpened My Eyes. She also returned to the studio to create her most recent LP,The Classic.Now she is bringing the new record to Australia for a string of shows.
