A stalwart of Sydney’s nightlife and one of the main driving forces behind the Picnic party throwers, DJ Andy Webb had a huge amount of his records and gear stolen recently in Newtown.

Webb’sred Eurolite hardcase trolley is unmistakable with a vast amount of Adult Disco and Future Classic stickers. Other stolen gear includesSennheiser HD 25s,Shure M44-7 + 3 spare styli,Audio Technica AT618 record weight and a mountain of records, including cuts from Moodymann,Pepe Bradock,Tornado Wallace,DJ Nature,Nicholas and more.

Update: The Sydney electronic music community has come together to throw a fundraiser for Andy Webb, in order to replace his gear.

The Andy Webb fundraiser will go down at Goodgod Small Club on Saturday July 26. Webb, Ben Fester, Zeus, Dreamcatcher, Kali and Adi Toohey will spin. Entry is $10 on the door, with all proceeds going to Andy.
