With a massive response from the Aussie hip hop community and consistent triple j plays of his single ‘Numbers’ last year, Melbourne’s own Dylan Joel has released an all-new track ‘Swing’ featuring an eclectic mix of Australian hip hop favourites.

Featuring an all-star selection of rappers, including Mantra and DJ Izm from Bliss n Eso, Dylan Joel infuses a mix of 1930s big band sound together with boom-bap drums and classic scratch breaks, whilst bringing back an old school rap battle style.

The accompanying ‘Swing’ film clip highlights the significance of the ever-growing and emerging community of Australia’s hip hop scene, directed by and featuring Grey Ghost, with cameos from the full Bliss n Eso crew, Seth Sentry, Michelle Hunder, and DJ Sizzle.

Dylan Joel’s ‘Swing’ is now available for listening via Soundcloud and YouTube.
