Writer, performer and cellist Olivia Satchell will tell the semi-fictional story of Truda Vitz at the Tap Gallery from next month.

Her one-woman show, My Name Is Truda Vitz, focuses on a Czech-Viennese Jewish teenager fleeing persecution and starting a new life in England. The production spans time from pre-war Austria to present-day Sydney, and Satchell plays her cello throughout.

My Name Is Truda Vitz runs at Tap Gallery, Darlinghurst from Wednesday June 25 – Sunday July 6.
