The world’s longest standing rock band have made a promise to see out their Australian and NZ shows later in the year.

Following the unexpected death of front man Mick Jagger’s girlfriend, the band was forced to indefinitely postpone their tour.

Frontier Touring have confirmed that the band plans to return to our shores later this year, saying: “At this very sad time we would like to reassure Rolling Stones fans and ticket holders that every effort is currently being made to reschedule the postponed Australia and New Zealand dates for October/November 2014.”

Ticket holders are being asked to hold onto their tickets for the time being.

New tour dates are yet to be announced.
