If you weren’t already sold on something named the Festival of Chocolate, you may be swayed by the term “two-day chocolate extravaganza” or by the fact that Gelato Messina, Black Star Pastry, and N2 Gelato — known as the Big Three in certain chocolate circles I may or may not have just invented — will be presenting delicious wares for you to sample.

Or maybe you’ll be tempted to hit The Rocks weekend by tasty newcomers Sweet Therapy‘s Bubble Waffles, Pimp My Chimney’s donut ice-cream cones (yup), or Zumbo Patisserie’s chocolate domes, with melted hot chocolate.

There’s also a magical place called The Lindt Lounge, and — for those who prefer their treats to make them tipsy — Chocolate Ale (that’s chocolate-flavoured beer!) courtesy of Endeavour Beer, Mr Black Espresso Martini Bar, and plenty of wines on offer.

The smooth Festival of Chocolate happens throughout The Rocks on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 August from 10am.

It’s free entry, too – find out more from the official website.
