This year the Sydney Fringe Festival program boasts over 300 shows. For one month a mammoth lineup of art, theatre, music and sound, dance, poetry, film, food and wine will take over 60 venues across creative villages on the city’s fringe.

So what’s install? The Seymour Centre courtyard will transform into Emerald City – a late-night garden bar playing host to music, comedy and cabaret; Newtowners can revel in the Fringe’s new music venue Eliza’s Juke Joint; Leichhardt festival-goers can get in on some theatre action at The Forum; Marickville locals can indulge live music at the Camelot Lounge of offbeat comedy at the Factory Theatre; Surry Hillians can visit Slide Lounge for a hit of sassy burlesque; and in Glebe and Chippendale, punters can explore hidden galleries and indulge artisan food.

“We are thrilled to release our 201 program. This year we have delved deeper into the heart of Sydney expanding our scope not only artistically, but geographically,” said Sydney Fringe Festival spokesperson Kerri Glasscock.
