OPEN 107 is the annual invitation to the public to explore their thriving multi-arts hub warehouse on 107 Redfern Street.
107 Projects received a grant from the City of Sydney to renovate a warehouse in Redfern. The then-empty warehouse has now been transformed into a thriving cultural space and a hive of industrious artistic activity. The warehouse is now thriving, with a visual arts gallery, live music and performance space, a cinema, artist-in-residence studios, creative offices, a soundmixing studio, a rehearsal space and a café and bar. 107 Projects, a not-for-profit organisation, is also joined in the warehouse by co-tenants Tribal Warrior and The Bower.
Since opening in 2015, 107 Projects has hosted about 4,500 artists and 36,000 audience members. OPEN 107 is an opportunity for members of the public to drop in and experience a host of artistic endeavours under a very large and cavernous, post-industrial roof.
