It’s predicted that one in three households will have just one occupant by 2020. That’s a pretty scary thought. And while most of us curse the skyrocketing rental costs and wonder in desperation how we’re expected to afford this growing phenomenon, New Theatre’s production Singled Out responds to the trend.
Running from Wednesday October 2-12 at the Seymour Centre’s Reginald Theatre, the show comes from director Augusta Supple and delves into the private lives of our neighbours with a stellar troupe to boot. Singled Out is brought to us by playwrights Vanessa Bates, Wayne Blair, Luke Carson, Sarah Carradine, Grace De Morgan, Emma Magenta, Alli Sebastian-Wolf, Tim Spencer and actors Paul Armstrong, Roland Baker, Alex Bryant-Smith, Josipa Draisma, Leof Kingsford-Smith, Rosie Lourde, Craig Menaud, Eloise Snape and Michael Howlett.
Head to Seymour Centre for more info. We’ll be signing a lease on a rabbit hutch if you need us.
