Fiona Lowry has won the 2014 Archibald Prize for her portrait of architect Penelope Seidler.

Lowry’s artwork beat 883 other entries for this year’s Archibald, judged by the Trustees of the Art Gallery of NSW. In 2008, Lowry won the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize, and this is her third time in the Archibald.

The Archibald Prize finalists are on show at the Art Gallery of NSW until Sunday September 28.
