The 14th Audi Festival of German Films is heading to Sydney this May in a celebration of the nation’s strong film industry.

The festival will open with a film from celebrated Germany director, Domink Graf. Beloved Sisters follows the story of two sisters who fall for the same man, poet Friedrich Schiller, in a tumultuous period of Western European history; the lead up to the French Revolution.

This year’s edition of the festival will feature a range of other films as well as special guests including German actor Florian Setter and prominent screenwriter Sascha Arango, and a panel appearance by NSW Transport Minister, Gladys Berejiklian.

The 14th Audi Festival of German Films will commence on Wednesday May 13 and run until Sunday May 31. To see a full list of the films and their locations, check out the website here.
