If there’s anyone who knows how to spend a Friday night, make the most of a Saturday and ensure Sunday is a total write-off, it’s Cali rapper Kid Ink.

Aside from being seriously tatted up (as the name suggests), he’s also renowned for constantly throwing down the most boisterous and slapping of party bangers, teaming up with world-class rappers to craft a tonne of tracks that’ll have you bopping as though you’re in a Miami club amongst the palm trees without a care in the world for what’s coming tomorrow.

With Kid Ink making his way to Australia for a special club show at Brisbane’s party hot spot The Back Room from 8pm until late on Thursday December 28, we’re looking at a few of the huge collabs he’s got under his belt, guaranteed to kick your New Year’s partying off a few days early.

‘Promise’ – Kid Ink ft. Fetty Wap

Teaming up with none other than Mr 1738, ‘Promise’ features the two trappers melding smooth RnB vocals and rapped hooks that’ll have you bouncing all the way to the club and stumbling back home. The track was released on Ink’s seventh mixtape Summer in the Winter which also saw features from Akon and Omarion.

‘100’ – Travis Barker, Tyga, Kid Ink & Ty Dolla $ign

Travis Barker isn’t a stranger to hip hop collabs, throwing down fiery beats and frenetic fills on his two solo efforts, and constantly teaming up with huge rappers to push stylistic boundaries. The blink-182 drummer got Tyga, and his good pals Kid Ink and Ty Dolla $ign on this track that features infectiously bouncy bass and soaring bars.

‘F With U’ – Kid Ink ft. Ty Dolla $ign

Kid Ink and Ty Dolla $ign have teamed up on plenty tracks but ‘F With U’ is the ultimate baller anthem, with a damn lavish music video to match. You’ll probably never look as cool as this holding a red cup at a party, but you can try by bopping along to this track.

‘Body Language’ – Kid Ink ft. Usher, Tinashe

Usher is undisputedly one of the reigning kings of RnB hooks – so who better to enlist to croon the massive chorus on this track. Kid Ink raps over clubby synths and jumpy beats culminating in a truly pulsating banger.

‘Bad Ass’ – Kid Ink ft. Meek Mill, Wale

Meek Mill joined in the party to help Kid Ink out with this huge trap anthem, featuring dizzying synths and brooding 808s that scream nothing but pure, unadulterated badassery.
