Home Alone star Devin Ratray has been accused of domestic abuse after an incident involving his girlfriend over the weekend.
As reported by The Sun, an argument between the actor and his girlfriend allegedly turned physical in an Oklahoma City hotel on Sunday, December 12th.
She claimed that Ratray started “strangling her and putting his hand over her mouth,” and that “he punched her in the face and she escaped to a stairwell.” She then reportedly grabbed her belongings and left while she waited for the police to arrive.
A police source told TMZ that they were “called to a Hyatt near downtown OKC earlier this week for a domestic dispute between Ratray and his girlfriend.”
Ratray hasn’t been charged for the incident at the time of writing. Representatives for the actor have insisted that the pair “got into a verbal argument, nothing physical, and things were so nasty the two broke up.”
The police source continued by stating that everything was “sorted out once Devin and his girlfriend decided to go their separate ways for the night.”
Ratray is best known for playing Buzz McAllister, Kevin’s mean older brother in the Home Alone series. He starred in Home Alone, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, and also has a role in the latest, Home Sweet Home Alone. The fifth film in the series is available to stream on Disney+.

Ratray is also set to take part in a Home Alone reunion, scheduled to take place 31 years after the film first aired. “They have been planning a reunion online and I just recently, as in a couple of days ago, got on their messenger chat thread,” he told People.
He continued: “The family is moving on their own accord to get together, so who knows what’s going to happen in the future.”
