While The Rings of Power struggles with trolling reviews and odd complaints, House of the Dragon has been mostly impressing viewers since debuting last month.
One unimpressed person, however, is Selina MacArthur. The editor, who’s also worked on shows like Black Mirror and Doctor Who, took to social media to voice his frustration at not being properly credited for his time and work on the newest episodes of the fantasy drama.
“I spent 7 months editing Episodes 2 & 3 of #HouseoftheDragon… I did leave the show early but the majority of my edit remained the same as I left it,” he wrote on Twitter, adding that it was “disappointing not to be credited for my hard work.”
While MacArthur was given joint credit for episode 2, he received absolutely nothing for the following episode. After making clear his disappointment, the editor has already received an outpouring of support in the comments.
“You did great work as usual. Hope you’re ok,” wrote someone appreciatively. “Glad you brought attention to this You should still be credited!” insisted someone else.
“I’m sorry to hear this and I hope it gets remedied and re-uploaded with the proper credit. You did a fantastic job!” added another.
Many others offered their own related stories of not receiving proper recognition. “I’ve been left out of credits also on stuff having worked months on, and it sucks… Especially when it’s on HUGE stuff that people will be watching for years to come,” wrote one Twitter user.

MacArthur isn’t the only notable person to depart House of the Dragon remarkably early. Just days before the release of episode 3, it was announced that showrunner Miguel Sapochnik was exiting the Game of Thrones prequel. He’ll just remain involved as an executive producer moving forward.
