Yes, you read that correctly.

Gyoza, the goodest boy, has been nabbed by 343 Industries to lay some vocals/grunts down for the new Halo Infinite game. Introduced to the Halo fanbase on Instagram, Gyoza is in the studio huffin’ and puffin’ and gruntin’ his way to the bag.

The hype around this little bit of news is starting to generate more now, even though Halo posted the video to their account back in August. Regardless, it’s an interesting insight into how different sounds are captured for video games, with speculation starting to circle over what kind of character Gyoza will be playing.

Alien and villain are the two big ones, obviously, but who knows? Maybe there’s an animated pug waiting to make its Halo debut.

Halo Infinite is slated for a 2020 release on Microsoft’s next-gen Xbox console. It will also be release on Xbox One and PC.
