It was only a matter of time until The Bachelor Australia‘s Holly Kingston and Jimmy Nicholson caught flak for their controversial OnlyFans opinion, and Abbie Chatfield is leading the way with the criticism.

Abbie took to Instagram Stories to talk through the myriad issues behind her fellow former Bachy star’s Instagram post.

For those not in the know, a brief recap: Holly and Jimmy slammed OnlyFans creators earlier this week, with the latter insisting it was “a load of sh*t” when creators claimed they use the platform to “empower” themselves.

As someone who had previously “hung out” with Jimmy and Holly, Abbie felt well placed to offer an opinion on the situation. She revealed that she messaged Holly “seven minutes” after her initial post to call it out as “slut shamey” and “the opposite of progression.”

When Holly then doubled down on her view, Abbie went further. “The tone of voice of ‘no judgement, but here’s our judgement’ is not ideal but no one actually asked you thought of what the morality around OnlyFans or sex work was,” she said on Instagram Stories. “It just kind of felt like a vessel to speak about your dismissal of people who do OnlyFans.”

Abbie also offered an interesting comparison, pointing out that there’s very little difference between Jimmy and Holly using their TV exposure to get sponsorship deals and reality TV stars using their fame to gain subscribers on OnlyFans.

“Basically, what you’re saying is, ‘no judgement, but like if you do this — no good. You’ve just leveraged off your reality TV experience’. Which is exactly what all of us have f**king done,” Abbie blasted.

She continued by noting that she was “uncomfortable” with Jimmy in particular, with sex work marginalising women, queer people, trans people, non-binary individuals, and people of colour. “All you had to say was ‘it’s not for us, but all the power to you’,” she bemoaned.

Abbie’s Instagram Stories didn’t lead to any realisation on the couple’s part. Abbie returned later to reveal to her fans that Jimmy had actually called her about her callout. After a “long seven-minute conversation,” no impasse was reached, with Jimmy allegedly doubling down on his position and calling Abbie “aggressive.”

The outcome of it all? Abbie has now unfollowed both Holly and Jimmy on Instagram.
