Viewers were left shocked after Adam Seed stormed out of last night’s commitment ceremony, rather than waiting around and watching the other couples speak to the ‘relationship experts’ on the couch.

While both Adam and Janelle decided to ‘leave’ the experiment, Janelle stayed for the remainder of the session, like most couples who decide to exit do. However, after showing his decision card, Adam told the other cast members “sorry guys” before walking straight out the door.

A source has told Yahoo Lifestyle Australia that Adam was shipped back to his room, and -unlike other contestants – didn’t have a final goodbye with anyone.

“Producers just put him in a taxi back to his solo apartment, told him to pack his bags and there’d be a taxi arriving in the morning,” they said.

“There was no big farewell with the boys, no hugs or anything really – he just left and no one seemed to care.”

Within the first few weeks of the experiment, Adam and fellow bride Claire had a secret kiss behind their partner’s backs. When Claire’s ‘husband’ Jesse grew suspicious, both parties vehemently denied they had ever hooked up. However, the truth later came out when Claire felt guilty and admitted that they had shared a kiss.

The group quickly turned against Adam, as he repeatedly avoided taken accountability for his actions. Adam’s ex-partner Janelle told the publication that she believes his dramatic exit was related to dented pride.

“The thing with Adam is that he has a lot of pride and you could see that throughout the entire experiment,” she details. “If you even questioned his character he would blow up, like when I questioned his career and he was so clearly insecure about it and got so defensive.

“So when the group and the experts were holding him accountable for his actions and telling him that his apology had no meaning to it, he could not take it and he didn’t want to face the music, so he left pretty quickly.”
