Fancy yourself a cup of “damn fine coffee”? Then brew yourself a cuppa, and join Kyle MacLachlan in his hosting of a Twin Peaks watch party.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the cult favourite series, actor Kyle MacLachlan who plays the handsome Agent Dale Cooper is hosting a viewing party. And, as we don’t have any plans anyways due to everything being closed, you better bet we’ll be watching intently.
Taking to Twitter, MacLachlan posted a video saying, ““So, listen. I’ve been noticing that some of you have been watching and rewatching, and some discovering for the first time Twin Peaks, and I thought ‘why don’t we set up a time when we can watch your favourite episode together?’”
Lately, MacLachlan has been doing what he can to keep us entertained in the midst of quarantine restrictions, including posting a video of him reenacting one of the Twin Peaks scenes.
Although it’s not said as to which episode he plans to watch with us all, he has asked on Twitter for everyone to call out which episode they think should win via his hashtag #TwinPeaksWatchParty.
In addition to hosting this watch party, he has also used his platform to call out to Twin Peaks fans to help save one of the crucial settings in the series, the Twedes Cafe.
As current restrictions have seen the cafe cut many employees, and only be allowed to serve the public via take-out only, the cafe has called out to the public to help save the cherished landmark.
