You now have a vessel that will protect your gut and destroy your liver. For some ungodly reason, Alcoholic kombucha has made its way to Australian shelves.
‘Naughty Booch’ launched in Australia earlier this month. The product is a brainchild of the same company that brought us Rosé Rosé and Canned Espresso Martinis. I didn’t think it was possible to want to punch on with a brand more, but I was wrong.
The spiked booch has three flavours on offer, ginger & lemon, apple & berry or watermelon, cucumber & lime. It’s vegan and boasts no added sugar. If the suburb of Surry Hills were to be boiled down to a single beverage, it would be this. No drink has truly embodied the latte-belt of Sydney quite like this absolute monstrosity.
Naturally, the beverage comes in a despicably beautiful can that looks like it jumped straight out of a 2013 edition of Frankie Magazine. One ‘Naughty Booch’ contains an alcohol content of 4.6
Whilst I might be unjustifiably cynical about this, I’m sure there are plenty of people out there that will love it. It’s probably delicious. If it means never having to watch my friends attempt to combine kombucha with Mishka vodka for as long as I live then sign me up.
‘Naughty Booch’ is available at Liquorland, Vintage Cellars, First Choice Liquor and First Choice Liquor Market.
