I’ve exhausted my stamina on peddling opening paragraphs about how it’s lockdown and there’s never been a better time to stream. You know the drill. Here’s everything coming to Amazon Prime in August.

Great news for those that like their women demented, a new eight-part series based on Australian author Liane Moriarty’s bestselling book Nine Perfect Strangers, is set to land on Amazon Prime on August 20th. Filmed on location in Australia, Nine Perfect Strangers is set at a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing for nine stressed city schleppers.

Nicole Kidman plays the resort’s director Masha, so you already know what kind of deliciously sinister, toff-y performance you’re in for. The film also stars Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Boone, Bobby Cannavale, Luke Evans, Michael Shannon, Regina Hall, Manny Jacinto, Melvin Gregg, Samara Weaving and Asher Keddie. You can check out the trailer below.

Season 2 of Modern Love, the Amazon anthology series inspired by the New York Times column of the same name will also be dropping on August 13th.
