Aussie Love Island star Emily Ward appears to be hanging out with UK Love Island star Hugo Hammond, and their comment history suggests that there may be romance on the agenda.

Hugo has recently relocated from Hampshire in the UK, to Melbourne – the city where Emily lives.

Hugo recently posted a photo of himself posing with the Victorian city’s CBD in the background and captioned the pic, “Big City Life – Melbourne”. Cue: Emily, who jumped into the comments section and wrote,” How good.” Emily was one of only two people that Hugo responded to in the comments section. He replied, “how bloody good”.

Furthermore, Hugo has liked Emily’s last three photos on Instagram. Interestingly, Emily’s Love Island hook-up, Mitchell Hiberb commented on one of Hugo’s photos too, but didn’t receive a reply. “Ayeeeee the uk aus collab! Lessss goooo,” he commented, to which Hugo simply “liked”.

Hugo appeared in season seven of Love Island UK while Emily and Mitch appeared in season three of Love Island Australia. Mitch was paired up with Tina Provis when Emily entered the villa as an intruder, and Mitch dated both women before deciding to stick with Tina. The pair went on to win the season and date post-show.

However, the split three months after Love Island Australia finished and it was later revealed that Mitch hooked up with co-star Emily Ward just days after their breakup.

“I found out that about five days after we had broken up before we’d publicly announced it, that a certain couple of people had hooked up with each other,” Tina told Abbie Chatfield on her podcast It’s A Lot in March.

“I didn’t exactly get the truth from the horse’s mouth straight away,”  “I was like, ‘Is there something you want to tell me?’”

She added, “It took a little bit of coercing. I was like, ‘so you did this’, and he said ‘when?’,” she recalled.

“I was like, ‘Okay, you’re lying now, just say it’. Then I got it out [of him].”

Love Island season four is currently airing 6 pm Monday – Thursday on 9Now.
