Andrew Garfield was recently asked about which Spider-Man was wearing a fake butt while promoting ‘Tick,Tick… Boom.’

Fans of Marvel were undeniably happy when not one, but three Spider-Mans showed up in Spider-Man: No Way Home last year. The trio of Tom Holland, Tobey  Maguire, and Andrew Garfield, along with a roster of classic baddies, had fans cheering in the theater. In fact, fans were so excited that the movie raked in 760 million at the American box office.  This makes it the third highest-grossing movie in the United State’s domestic box office history and led to almost immediate talks of future movies.

Reporters have been bringing up No Way Home ever since the movie came out last December, and before. So it was no shock when the movie came up in this Seth Meyers interview.

The interview begins with a clip from Tom Holland’s upcoming Uncharted, where the UK actor gets to show off his bartending skills. The talk quickly moves to No Way Home where Holland talks about his experience on the set with the other two Spider-Mana actors.

Before exiting the topic, Tom adds one more extra detail for Spider-Man fans to mull over, “I’ll give you a spoiler,” he said. “And I’m not going to tell you who. But one of us has a fake arse in their suit.” The two exchange a few jokes on the topic before moving back to talking about Uncharted.

Fan speculation since that clip aired has run rampant, with some calling it a game of “Werewolf.” Speculation is now getting to the point that Andrew Garfield was asked about the soundbite while promoting Tick, Tick… Boom. Garfield played it cool and said he had heard the rumour started by Holland but had no idea who it could be, “I assumed everyone’s butts were their butts,” he said.

When the reporter speculated that the fake butt could be Tobey’s, Garfield quickly interjected, “No, I don’t think it’s Tobey. I’ve seen Tobey’s butt, Tobey’s got back.”
