Andy Lee has revealed that his recent cover of Stellar magazine with partner Rebecca Harding was photoshopped to remove traces of shingle he developed prior to the shoot.

“I had shingles. It mainly happens to old people, which is worrying for me,” he HIIT radio show Carrie and Tommy. “It puffed my face up, so they had to Photoshop my face for the Stellar mag and hats off to them!”

He added, “I was grateful for them depuffing my face on the righthand side.”

Lee was featured on the cover of last weekend’s Stellar magazine alongside Harding. The couple, who have been dating for eight years, sat down for a chat with the publication and opened up about their stance on marriage and kids.

“Some people find those milestones [like marriage] super important in their lives. But they’re not for everyone,” he said.

Harding added, “It is really unfair and there is also other pressure to have kids, as well. And unfortunately for women, we do have a little bit of a clock that’s ticking…”

“We’re loving where we’re at, really. We’ve bought a house. We’ve got a dog, and we have a few other projects, too.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Lee admitted that he’s often full naked in front of his parents, and that the topic comes up on his show, The Hundred.

“I found out I was in the minority, we tackle nudity tonight … I don’t like to get naked [in front of my parents] but dad will chat to me, or mum will chat to me, if I’m in the shower, and vice versa,” Lee told the radio hosts, who agreed that the idea of being naked around parents was quite bizarre.

“That’s the thing about this show … You find out things about yourself you thought everyone else was doing.”
