Former Bachelorette Angie Kent revealed that it was her suitor’s, Ciarran Stott, naked body that had her questioning whether she was ready to get married.

Ciarran was a front runner on Angie’s season but pulled out midway through after finding out his grandmother had died. Prior to leaving the show, Ciarran posed in his birthday suit for a nude drawing class with Angie.

“Oh my god, I remember I was so uncomfortable that they [The Bachelorette producers] threw me that,” Angie said of the date on her podcast Two Girls One Pod.

Angie and her podcast co-host Yvie Jones reflected on how Yvie was at the class and had told Angie that Ciarran’s naked body could be her “last hurrah” before marriage.

“I got anxiety. I was like, ‘ew, imagine if this is it?’ That sign right there should have been a sign from myself to be like, ‘You should be excited that this could be your last dating experience!’ I was like ‘ugh’,” she said.

Angie starred as the lead on The Bachelorette in 2019. Fan favourite Timm Hanly and model Carlin Sterritt were the last men standing, but ultimately Carlin received Angie’s final rose.

The couple lasted over seven months before splitting. Shortly before they officially announced that they had broken up, fans noticed that Carlin and Angie had stopped posting photos of each other on social media. When fans asked Angie about the radio silence on Instagram, she struck back.

“Everyone got their happy ending when the show was on,” she wrote in one comment.

“Now it’s no one’s business. It’s my real life. So best people stay out of it unless they know for real what someone is going through.”

And, the speculation was confirmed in July 2020 when both Angie and Carlin took to their respective accounts to announce that they had broken up.
